For I assure you: If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you (Matthew 17:20).
How many times have we doubted? Sometimes situations happen in our lives and we doubt if it is possible. Time passes and we see no results. But, the truth is that the mere fact of doubting freezes or delays what is ours.
Through many biblical passages we read about the power of faith in many people such as the healing of diseases, raising people from the dead, freeing people from the oppression of demons, and feeding thousands with only five loaves and two fishes. There are so many other miracles that happened for just believing. When meditating on all these facts, I asked myself the question: what has happened to our faith? Is it perhaps the technology, the advances in medicine, the scientific advances that we have lost from perspective that there are still miracles based on faith?
It is sad to know that many people stop believing, that they lose hope and that they think there is no solution. But, today my dear friends I want to tell you “And He said to them: By your little faith; because in truth I tell you that if you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain: “ Go from here to there, and it will pass; and nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20). It is time to lift your spirit and recognize that your miracle depends on you. Do you think it will be done? How powerful is your faith? If you believe like the mustard seed is the only thing that God requires to perform the miracle in your life.
Prayer: Open your heart
Lord Jesus, I am before your presence asking for your forgiveness because within my humanity I have doubted the power of faith. Help me restore my hope and faith in you. I ask this in your name Jesus, Amen.
