You have power

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1: 7

It is sad to know how our people suffer from low self-esteem, how they think they have no authority or power to overcome obstacles, they think they cannot and they even think that life has no meaning for them. Our population constantly suffers mental battles that lead them to despair and they think that there is no way out. But, today, my dear friends, I want to tell you that there is extraordinary power in you and the enemy (the devil or whatever you want to call him) knows it. Therefore, it is time to recognize your power. Continue reading “You have power”

The warrior and the trust

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love, he will no longer rebuke you but will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

Every warrior goes through a battle. Within those battles, there are victories as well as defeats. During those battles, there are difficult moments, long and stormy days, and also nights of insomnia and doubt. But, when the warrior gets a victory, the warrior celebrates with his/her war companions the joy of that great victory. Many may say, “the war is not over”, but a battle won is a reason to recognize that he/she is alive, that he/she has the necessary strength to defeat the enemy so his/her confidence lets him/her know that tomorrow is another day. The warrior

So Joshua and his entire army, including his best warriors, left Gilgal and set out for Gibeon. Joshua 10:7-14.

Reflecting on war, we can say that without soldiers for war there are no armies. Nations or governments are measured by the power of their army. The enemies know and plan strategies to be able to defeat the opposite side. But, also the enemy can feel intimidated if the other side has a greater number of soldiers. We also know that an army is formed or gathers the best men and women with all the physical, mental, and emotional skills. So a warrior will be ready when the time comes to act before the enemy or adversary. Continue reading “The warrior”

Demolishing the walls

So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Joshua 6:20

There are times in our lives that walls are built that we sometimes think are so strongly built and difficult to tear down. These walls are situations that come into our life that we think we cannot pass through them nor can’t we jump those walls. We see it very difficult, even impossible. We think that there is no solution to our illness, marriage, finances, work, children, community, enemies, and even many other things that only you know for what you are going through. For other people, your situation is nothing compared to the situation they live, however, it is still your wall. So many obstacles are presented to us that we do not know what to do, but today I tell you, my dear friend, that there is a solution. What should I do to break down my wall? Our bodies

We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. Corinthians 5:2
