FACING THE OCEAN

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the LORD caused the sea to turn back by a mighty east wind all that night; and the sea turned dry, and the waters were divided. Then the children of Israel entered through the middle of the sea, dry, having the waters as a wall on their right and on their left. Exodus 14: 21-22

We are pursued by the enemy, we run so as not to be attacked or to protect ourselves from the hand of the hunter who does not rest until attacking. But there comes a time when we find ourselves facing the sea and we believe that there is no way out. Continue reading “FACING THE OCEAN”

So many voices

And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, how long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. 1 Kings 18:21

We are surrounded by so many voices, voices that tell us so many things which can be positive as well as negative. We get confused in thinking not finding what decision to make or what to do. Many of us have lived in these situations where we cannot even reconcile the dream of thinking so much and hearing what others say or say about what concerns us. Continue reading “So many voices”

God of Opportunity

And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must abide at thy house. Luke 19: 5

Today, I want to tell you about a man who wanted to see Jesus, but his height did not allow him to see, his name was Zacchaeus (read story in Luke 19). So, seeing a tree nearby, he decided to climb the tree. He wanted to see Jesus, but Jesus was the one who saw him. Jesus was the famous one of those times as a famous one of our present time can be for you. Now, imagine that famous person can see you from the crowd, how would you feel? The Surfer

Should you not fear me?” declares the Lord. “Should you not tremble in my presence? I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it. Jeremiah 5:22.

It is impressive when we see a surfer on top of the waves of the sea. Continue reading “The Surfer”

Conquer your fears

casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

There are times in our lives that we feel fear. A fear which traps us and does not allow us to continue. Fear, fear, anxiety, and many other synonyms to identify a feeling of the unknown. That fear that prevents us from reaching the other level. Moreover, we are discouraged, we feel abandonment to such an extent that we lock ourselves up like a turtle in its shell. Do not give up

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Mathew 6:34

When everything seems that the road leads nowhere there is always a final destination. Recently, I was reading a message that said “Never give up because you never know if the next try will be the one that will work.” There is a moment when we let our guard down … has it happened? Continue reading “Do not give up”

PEACE IN THE STORM

And there is no created thing hidden from their sight, but all things are uncovered and naked before the eyes of the one to whom we have to give an account. Acts 4:13

When the world screams chaos, there is an inner peace that tells me to be calm. How is this possible? Your physical eyes see natural disasters, wars, diseases and still I can feel calm. Is there a secret in this? Such confidence and serenity which is inexplicable for the human being but, when we are naked in his presence I can feel inner peace. Continue reading “PEACE IN THE STORM”
