Your name

The doorman opens the door, and the sheep hear his voice. Call the sheep by name and remove them from the fold. John 10: 3

I don’t know your name, what your purpose on this earth is, and what your name really means. But, I am sure that God knows your name, He knows who you are and have never forsaken you. Continue reading “Your name”

Self-confidence and false security

“ But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”. Luke 22:32

Many times we have believed that we can solve everything, that we can do it, that we can do it with our own strength, to the point that we think we are so sure of what we say. But, the time comes that we do like Peter (disciple of Jesus). Who thought he was not going to deny Jesus even in difficult times. Continue reading “Self-confidence and false security”

Do not let your left hand know what your right does

But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, Matthew 6: 3.

Today, technology is an extraordinary thing. There is a diversity of people who publish everything that happens in their lives on social networks. Also, there are people who do a variety of things that they don’t publish on their networks. To those people who do not publish their daily lives and what they do for others, they are very blessed people and do not require publicity because their love is enough for all those who helped. Today, with so many social networks we have forgotten that there are actions that we must protect. Well, Jesus said, “But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing” (Matthew 6: 3-4). Esther and the King

So it was when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter. Esther 5: 2.

Reading the story of Esther, we can see how a young woman of Jewish nationality came to receive the grace and love of a King. A woman who was born to be queen, but whose purpose was to help her people. Esther, a woman who had power in her hands, a woman whose race was Jewish, and her religion was different from that of her husband, the King. A woman who hid who she was until it was time to reveal her true identity. An identity that could cause her to death. How many of us have hidden for a long time? Among Lions

So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you! Daniel 6:16.

How many times have we been in the lion’s den? Lion’s den? The lion’s den is where many of us have found ourselves, such as work situations, family, financial situations, children, parents, health, and so many other things that only you know and you think there is no solution. It is, therefore, that many times we feel that we have lost hope and have found ourselves with no solution or alternatives of being able to
leave the lion’s den. Who is that lion in your life? What or who caused you to be in the den? Continue reading “Among Lions”

Afraid

So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed or hidden that will not be made known. Matthew 10:26 (NIV).

Afraid, how many have we felt panic or fear of something that could happen something bad? Fear can be triggered to such an extreme that it causes anxiety, insecurity, and leads us to react to such an extreme that we hide, we dare not face the situation or even the person. Continue reading “Afraid”

Money

Joseph collected all the money that was to be found in Egypt and Canaan in payment for the grain they were buying, and he brought it to Pharaoh’s palace. Genesis 47:14

I received a message that said, “I have not been poor, I have only been without money. Being poor is a state of mind and not having money is a temporary condition.” How true it is that life is not just money. Continue reading “Money”

Absolute trust

I trust God and praise his word; I trust God and I don’t feel fear. What can a mere mortal do to me? Psalm 56: 4.

Absolute trust, mmm … when I analyze the word absolute, my mind takes me to mathematics. Yes, mathematics which many times we say that there are established theories that already exist and at the same time much of us we do not understand the meaning or do not understand the logical explanation.
