Christmas

” For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9: 6

Christmas is a time that has been commercialized. In our days the essence of what it really means Christmas has been lost. At Christmas, we remember the birth of Jesus and celebrate his life. So, it’s a time to celebrate that Jesus was born with a purpose on earth. His purpose was to free man from sin and give him entrance to the kingdom of heaven. And, that is why every Christian feels happy that Jesus was born to forgive and love us. Continue reading “Christmas”

Faith

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Mathew 17:20.

Faith, which we speak a lot about, is a mystery to science. Faith is defined in the Bible in Hebrews 11: 1

“It is, therefore, faith the certainty of what is expected, the conviction of those who do not see.” Continue reading “Faith”

The Space Mission

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last-and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16

When studying the career of an astronaut, we learn that the person requires a variety of training. They go through difficult and high-risk tests. The diet is different, the place to live is not a spacious house, it is a small space, the exercise routine is different, and even the clothes are different. We can read about the high risk that the life has when carrying out the space mission. Each astronaut has different skills according to the mission, so each one depends on the skills and strengths of their colleagues to carry out the mission. Once they have completed their training, they will be ready to go out to the space mission. Continue reading “The Space Mission”

In the cave

“While Jezebel was killing off the LORD’s prophets, Obadiah had taken a hundred prophets and hidden them in two caves, fifty in each, and had supplied them with food and water” 1 Kings 18: 4.

In 1 Kings 18-19 we read the story of Elijah and the prophets of Baal. Elijah was a high-caliber prophet as they say around here. A prophet who fulfilled the command of God and he was so nice to the presence of God that one day he was taken directly by God. Continue reading “In the cave”

Excuses

” For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and [g]Godhead, so that they are without excuse,” Romans 1:20

Friend, I do not know if it has ever happened to you that we have sometimes felt in doing or doing something special and we do not. For example, helping a stranger, praying for someone, carrying out special projects that God has commanded us to do, even constructions and many other things. But, we find ourselves saying some excuses that we finally do not do afterwards. Because the truth was more the “but” or excuses. Continue reading “Excuses”

The armor

“Put on the whole armor of God, so that you can stand firm against the wiles of the devil”. Ephesians 6:11

In these times that we live has not been easy for everyone who believes and does not believe in God. We all live under the same sky. We suffer and we rejoice according to the circumstances of life. Moreover, as they say out there, life goes on. But, to be able to continue with the day to day and survive or win we need to always have the armor on. What armor? Continue reading “The armor”
