Life

The Spirit of God has made me, the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33: 4.

What is life? A simple question, which we often ask ourselves, we give importance at the moment and then we forget that we once asked that question. Life. Many times we face an event in our lives, we wonder if it is enough what we have done in this Earth or is there something else to do. For God everything is possible

Jesus looked at them and said: Humanly speaking is impossible, but for God everything is possible. Matthew 19:26

By looking at the birds of the sky, nature and all the wonders around us we can observe how our God has taken care of humanity. We have water to quench our thirst, we have food to satisfy our hunger, we have clothes to cover our body, and we have friends, family, work and so many things that by thinking carefully about it, the love of God and His mercy dresses us every day with a more life day. Crossing the Besor

But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor. 1 Samuel 30:10

Many times we face difficult situations in our lives as it was the case with David. One day David arrives at his camp and meets the sad news that all his family and all his belongings were snatched by the enemy. The sadness of his people was so great that they wanted to stone David. In his sadness, David decides to consult with God to ask for direction. And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all  1 Samuel 30: 8. With that word of faith, David proceeds to rescue his people. Give thanks in everything

Give thanks in everything, because this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

I have been in these days with an influenza that has weakened me, and I have asked God for healing on my broken body. But this situation has not prevented me from empowering me to take the message to an audience that expects a word of strength. Today, I want to thank God in everything. Thank you because in the midst of the breakdown, in the midst of a painful body, God has sustained me. Continue reading “Give thanks in everything”

Yea or Nay

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. Mathew 5:37

In these days of holidays or end of the year activities many promises arise that in the long run we cannot fulfill. This is a time to reflect this year 2018, analyze what we accomplish or fail to fulfill and why. We do not want to drag the insecurities and the lamentations of what we could not fulfill in 2018. But, if we can learn from those experiences so as not to make the same mistakes.

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 1 John 4:20

Soon will be the New Year, a year when many will be making promises, realizing new goals, and new projects in their lives. But, we must never forget that the family is an institution created by God. Continue reading “Family”

Trust

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Psalm 143:8

Many times we face the unknown. We get up every morning without really knowing what awaits us in the day. Many times we plan our future, although it is really God who determines our present. Therefore, it is important that when you go to bed and when you get up, let’s give thanks to God for life and let Jesus direct our path. Continue reading “Trust”
