You give life to the faith (Final part)

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you. Matthew 9: 2.

There are as many stories in the Bible about the faith of many people that brought healing, liberation, and even resuscitation. But, this is not only from the past but nowadays, we have lived miracles in our lives and we continue to hear testimonies or experiences of how the faith of many have obtained healing, liberation, and even a second chance at life. You give life to the faith (Part III)

Now faith is the [substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11: 1.

It is not easy when we are waiting for something or someone. Always in the middle of waiting we despair, we want to see immediate results and our faith can weaken in that wait. What are you waiting for? Who are you waiting for? What promise do you expect? What miracle do you expect? How long have you been waiting? Do you still have faith? You give life to the Faith (Part II)

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 1 John 5: 4

Faith, a word so small and at the same time so powerful. Faith is defined by the www.wordreference.com as “belief in something without the need to have been confirmed by experience or reason, or demonstrated by science.” Therefore, by having a spirit of faith, we believe, we talk, and we share our belief with others. When we go through tribulations, it is when we begin to activate the faith. Continue reading “You give life to the Faith (Part II)”

Footprints

Your way was in the sea and your paths in the mighty waters and your footprints may not be known. Psalms 77:19.

How long have you been screaming at God? And you say, “God listens to me!” You have been in serious situations and seek the Lord, and you raise your hands to heaven crying and moaning from so much pain and despair, and you feel in your life that there is no consolation. You overwhelm yourself thinking that there is no solution. Continue reading “Footprints”

Step by Step

Direct my steps by your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me. Psalm 119:133.

Step by step, we all reach the goal. Sometimes the circumstances of life lead us to run and jump part of the processes of our lives because we think that the previous step is not important. Continue reading “Step by Step”

Demolishing the walls

So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Joshua 6:20

There are times in our lives that walls are built that we sometimes think are so strongly built and difficult to tear down. These walls are situations that come into our life that we think we cannot pass through them nor can’t we jump those walls. We see it very difficult, even impossible. We think that there is no solution to our illness, marriage, finances, work, children, community, enemies, and even many other things that only you know for what you are going through. For other people, your situation is nothing compared to the situation they live, however, it is still your wall. So many obstacles are presented to us that we do not know what to do, but today I tell you, my dear friend, that there is a solution. What should I do to break down my wall? Continue reading “Demolishing the walls”

The test

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. James 1: 2-3.

Many of us have gone through various tests and even more coming out of a situation comes another. Has it happened to you? Because I do. During the test many of us have lost faith, our strength is exhausted, and we are anguished through the process we are living. We are in doubt, we are depressed, and we even stop believing that God is with us. But, it is good to know that God reminds us that he is in control of our life. What is the key to staying on our feet? Continue reading “The test”

Rest

Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.

All of us in a moment of our lives, we have been tired and fatigued of so many things that we carry on our shoulders as for example; work, chores of the home, family, studies, different types of worries, illnesses, and even thinking we have become tired and fatigued. But, how good it is to know that at a certain time of the day we can find some time for us to relax, although perhaps for many the hiding place is the bathroom. Because it has happened to me, at the time of the shower I cried, sung, screamed, and many other things that I leave less stressed than when I entered the bathroom. Maybe, for some of you does not work this technique, but today I have a much better solution. Continue reading “Rest”

THE HOUSE

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. Mathew 7:24.

Many of us have heard and read the story of the Three Little Pigs and the Wolf. Do you remember that story? Well, now I can understand the meaning of this story. When we search the bible there is a parable that Jesus left us similar to this story. Matthew 7: 24-27 (Bible), tells us about a wise man who builds on the rock and when the rain descended, the flood came, the winds blew and beat on his house: the house did not collapse. On the other hand, the foolish man built his house on the sand and when the rain descended, the flood came, the winds blew and beat on his house: the house collapsed. What does this mean in our lives? Continue reading “THE HOUSE”
