The Wind

He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth- the LORD God Almighty is his name. Amos 4:13

The wind blows and we do not know where it comes from. The wind, which caresses our body, is the air we breathe. It is the only one that when it blows, we stop to breathe and we allow it to enter into our system. We depend on the air, we depend on this wonderful air that makes us feel and remember that we are alive. Continue reading “The Wind”

El viento

Pues he aquí el que forma los montes, crea el viento y declara al hombre cuáles son sus pensamientos, el que del alba hace tinieblas y camina sobre las alturas de la tierra: el SEÑOR, Dios de los ejércitos, es su nombre. Amós 4:13

El viento sopla y no sabemos de donde proviene. El viento, el cual acaricia nuestro cuerpo, es el aire que respiramos. Y, es el único que al soplar, nos detenemos para respirar y le permitimos que entre en nuestro ser. Dependemos del aire, dependemos de este aliento maravilloso que nos hace sentir y recordar que estamos vivos. Continue reading “El viento”

The sea

When they heard the report, all the believers lifted their voices together in prayer to God: “O Sovereign Lord, Creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— Acts 4:24

I do not know how many of you have had the opportunity to be in front of the sea, but those of us who have been in front of the sea we feel how our mind and body are disconnected from everything that surrounds us. The sea, water, where we submerge and feel as we caress and refresh our skin. It is a given time that we wrap ourselves in its depths and leave our burdens in the sea. Continue reading “The sea”

El mar

Cuando los creyentes oyeron las noticias, todos juntos alzaron sus voces en oración a Dios: «Oh Señor Soberano, Creador del cielo y de la tierra, del mar y de todo lo que hay en ellos, Hechos 4:24

No sé cuántos de ustedes han tenido la oportunidad de estar frente al mar, pero los que sí hemos estado frente al mar sentimos como nuestra mente y cuerpo se desconecta de todo lo que nos rodea. El mar, agua, donde nos sumergimos y sentimos como nos acaricia y refresca nuestra piel. Es un tiempo dado que nos envolvemos en sus profundidades y dejamos en ella nuestras cargas. La tierra, nuestra tierra, la tierra que fue creada para que nosotros la cuidemos, la cosechemos, y nos alimentemos de ella. La tierra que algún día volveremos a ella. Continue reading “La Tierra”
