Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.
All of us in a moment of our lives, we have been tired and fatigued of so many things that we carry on our shoulders as for example; work, chores of the home, family, studies, different types of worries, illnesses, and even thinking we have become tired and fatigued. But, how good it is to know that at a certain time of the day we can find some time for us to relax, although perhaps for many the hiding place is the bathroom. Because it has happened to me, at the time of the shower I cried, sung, screamed, and many other things that I leave less stressed than when I entered the bathroom. Maybe, for some of you does not work this technique, but today I have a much better solution.
My dear friends, even God rested when He created the world, moreover when Jesus was on earth gave instructions to his disciples to rest. Mark 6: 31 says: 
“Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat”. Also in Matthew 6: 31-34 says: “Do not worry, then, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear? Because the Gentiles seek all these things, but your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will bring its own eagerness.” Therefore, the rest is mandatory in our lives.
Do you know what the secret of rest is? Clearly, Jesus reminds us that only in Him you can rest, that only in Him will we find peace and comfort in our lives. But above all, when we rest in Jesus all the things you need will be given. Only in Jesus, there is justice, there is healing, consolation, peace, and an inexplicable rest that in the eagerness of the world you will not find. Hence, do not worry about tomorrow, because if the birds of the sky do not plant or harvest or store food in barns only depend totally on the heavenly Father to feed them, you are the most valuable for Jesus. Therefore, are not you for our God more valuable than the birds of the sky and the nature that you see in beautiful colors? Jesus knows all your needs, only He asks you to trust and rest because everything is under his control and nothing you lack; for those who trust in total rest in Jesus.
Prayer: Open your heart
Lord Jesus, forgive me if I have failed you and I have distrusted your promises. Forgive me. Today, I come before your presence to deposit my burdens, my sorrows, and everything that has taken my rest. I leave all my burdens in you. Help me to carry my heavy cross and to continue trusting in the protection and rest in you, Jesus. Amen.

My dear friends, today is the time to make a stop in your life. Remember that the work will always continue, but you will not. It’s time to love yourself. Find time to relax. Time for your family. Time to listen to yourself and be in touch with yourself. With the eagerness of day by day, we have lost the essence of who we are.

- Search for help. Do not wait any longer with your burdens for or example at work, with children, health, emotional state, finances, and many others that only you know. There are people from your community, church, and professionals who can help you. Remember, you are not alone
- Attend a church of your choice at least once a week.
- Pray, talk with God. It is much better to talk to Him and deposit your burdens in Jesus.
- Take time for vacation, you do not need to invest much. You do not have to go out of your country, you can go for a walk around the city, beach, rivers, and many other activities that are free. Search the Intranet for free activities where you live.
- Climb to the top of a mountain or a high place with your family, and just scream, scream and scream. And then, thank God that everything will be fine
- Just trust in God and rest because everything will be fine.
