And also the ax is already placed at the roots of the trees; therefore, every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Luke 3: 9
While I was exercising, walking, during my route there is a dry branch which was an obstacle in my route. I always dodged it, moved to the side or doubled over; although this did not prevent me from exercising, but it comes at a certain point that is an obstacle and annoying. But, making my route today, the gardeners were cleaning the area. Therefore, I asked them to please cut that branch because it was a dry branch since the whole tree had leaves except that dry branch.
Reflecting on this dry branch, this is our life in many situations in our lives. We carry toxic relationships, debts, family situations, and so many things which we carry such a heavy load that we can no longer continue. Therefore, our life is often like a dry branch. It is time to cut that branch that is an obstacle in our life and does not allow us to achieve our goals.
It is often difficult for us to cut that dry branch. But, it is healthy for you my friend because later you will realize that we had to take that action a long time ago and it is then that we can feel lighter and without obstacles to fulfill our goals and desires. God is your gardener. Many times you have to allow God and yourself to let go of what is already bothering us and does not allow us to carry out the plans that God has drawn up for us. It is time to cut what is no longer useful in your life.
Prayer: Open your heart
Lord Jesus, I am before your presence asking you to help me remove everything that is not useful for the growth of my spiritual life. I ask this in your name, Jesus, Amen.
