Culture

{In this renewal} there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian (one who was not Greek, neither by birth nor by culture), Scythian, slave or free, but Christ (the Messiah) It is everything and in all. Colossians 3:11

For many years there has been a diversity of cultures and traditions. The beauty of the diversity of cultures is that we learn to respect ourselves as we are and learn something different every day. The diversity of cultures is what distinguishes each individual, but without losing the essence of who we are.

When we know the different cultures, we also apprehend to value our culture and where we come from. Each individual says with great pride where they are from and what their culture is. Possibly, there is a diversity of foods, a different currency exchange, and different religion, race, among other things that identify us from where we are or were born. But, the most beautiful thing about each culture is its kindness and sympathy that is not lost with time.

How many us yearn for our land, its culture, the kindness, and sympathy of our people. But, despite the distance, we continue to bring part of the culture and tradition to each place we live. There may be a diversity of thoughts, culture, among other things, but religion should not be an obstacle for all of us to approach the same God, who created the earth, the sea, the sky, and everything that inhabits this universe. Moreover, culture should not be a reason to stop being who we are, beings of this universe created by God himself.

Prayer: Open your heart

Lord Jesus, today we ask your forgiveness if we have failed you. Today, I want to deposit in you, everything that I am. I want your love to always be present in my life and I can share with others the reflection of your love. Amen.

Friendly advice

My dear friends, it is time to break with the pattern or isolation of not sharing with other people. God moved in a diversity of race when He was on Earth. Therefore, who are we to determine or judge others for their culture? Let us love one another, which is what God sent us to do with our neighbor.

It is time to share and know that person that you consider different from you and you see how beautiful that person is. Smile and say hello or good morning or good afternoon and you will see the results.
