Confusion

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14.

Doubt and confusion have reached us all. We ask, we doubt and the thoughts we have lead us to confusion. A confusion that takes us back, forward, and steps back, thoughts that lead us to make no decision. We are invaded by fear, we are invaded by uncertainties. The mind of the doubter is like the double-minded man. Often confusion and doubt leads us to feel senseless and our mind wanders to the ground. What are the consequences of our confusion and doubt?

Many times we start to reason and think so much that the mind is spinning which leads us to do nothing as we create confusion. Sometimes human logic is not God’s logic. All of us at some point have a thought that guides us to do things, and we think that it doesn’t make sense. We say that human logic does not make sense, but we have not stopped to think that our God wants to do or guide us in his purpose. If we gave ourselves the opportunity to listen to the voice that reaches our thoughts and affirm it, it would help us understand that the spirit of God prevailed over the mind.

When we open our hearts and minds to God we can understand beyond human logic and reasoning. God shows us what we really should do even if we don’t like the idea. It is time to understand the spirit even if the natural man does not understand the spiritual man. In Proverbs 3: 5 it says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.” Therefore, avoid questioning and allow yourself to hear the voice of God.

Prayer: Open your heart

Lord Jesus, forgive me if I have ever reasoned so much that I have forgotten that you speak to my spirit. Help me to listen to your voice and do your will and not mine. I ask this in your name Jesus, Amen.
