Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.
Tired, frustrated from walking, and not reaching the final destination. But how beautiful the biblical word Matthew 11: 28-30 reminds us “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls; For my yoke it is easy, and my burden light”. My friends, the times we live in are not easy. Times that each individual and family is in a state of despair. The situation we live in is not one of the poor but also of the rich because of everything that is happening worldwide. But, you know something my beloved there is hope.
There is hope, there is a person who never fails and who tells us to rest in me, Jesus. Regardless of who you are, where you live, rich or poor, there is a path that leads us to rest in Him. Our yoke will be light. In other words, we can have the situation but we will have the wisdom and certainty to handle our current situation. Life is not easy and many times it is unfair but you know something my friend you are right. But when we place ourselves in Jesus, everything is different. You just have to give yourself the opportunity to experience something that you have not tried or tried before, rest in Jesus.
Prayer: Open your heart
Lord Jesus, today I come before your presence to ask your forgiveness. Today, I want to give myself the opportunity to place my burden on you. Help me and give me the wisdom to start this year from another perspective, I ask it in your name, Jesus, Amen.
