The Rainbow

13 I have placed my bow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:13

When the days are rainy, later on we see that the rainbow appears; we feel joy because it indicates that the rain has stopped and the sun will come out fully. Also, the rainbow leads us to remember the beautiful covenant that God made with Noah and his creation after the flood. The rainbow was created by God to remind us that He was not going to destroy the world with another flood, so it reminds us of a promise of His immense love, mercy and peace for humanity.

Friend, in our lives there are circumstances that we think we are in a flood and that the days and hours are an eternity. But, I want to remind you that you are not alone. When you remember the story of Noah; remember that he was not alone, with him was his family and part of the creation of God, but above all the presence of God accompanied them at all times. During and after the flood Noah did not complain, on the contrary he offered sacrifice of adoration or worship and gratitude for everything. Noah and his family were never unprotected, because in his boat the captain was God.

On rainy days, remember that God is your umbrella, is your refuge, and your guidance. He will never abandon you or leave you.

Prayer: Open your heart

Lord Jesus, I am laying in your presence, asking for your forgiveness if I have failed you. I am here with my heart in my hand, because I think that this flood will never cease. In my humanity, I count the hours and the days and even I complain before your presence thinking that you are not here. I reveal myself to you, but who am I, to reproach what is happening to me. When I must remember that whatever happens, you have had control of my life. Forgive me.

Today, I want you to take control of my life and my family. I know that after this flood the sun will rise. From today, even in the flood I adore you and I praise you with all my heart because I know that your promise of love, mercy and peace will always be with me. Amen.

A Friendly Advice

Dear friend, I know it is not easy when we are going through difficult times. Sometimes we want to find a guilty, but the truth is not there. Many times situations happen for some reason that the universe exposed to you and you do not understand it. When everything happens, we can see clearly what the purpose of it was. For example, sometimes it happens that we get sick, and when we go to the hospital we talk to others about the love of God, his power of healing and we even pray for them. If we had not been sick, we would not have gone to pray for the one who really is in need and without God. Moreover, it is at that moment, which they believe in the power of healing and salvation. Therefore, when an event occurs and we find our self in the middle of the flood, ask God what is his purpose in you. You will then see the divine plan in your life in an extraordinary way.

I recommend you always pray for the person in need. Through the prayer, ask God for direction and wisdom. Read the Bible and always seek help when you need it, remember you will never be alone.
