My weakness is my strength

That is why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

Sometimes we think that our weaknesses are our worst enemy. But, the truth is that our weaknesses make us strong. Many times we think about our physical and emotional weaknesses and so many other things that lower our self-esteem. We think about how people perceive us and we create a feeling of inferiority and pain. Why I am like this? Why I disqualify myself? Who can understand everything I’m feeling?

How good it is to know that there is someone who understands and comforts us! There is someone who reminds us that when we are weak, really we are strong in Him. How good is to know that in our weaknesses there is a power that perfects us. It is beautiful to think that when we are tired and without strength, there is someone who reminds us that only in him there is rest and increases our strength. How wonderful is to know that when anxiety invades us, there is someone who reminds us that he is taking care of us.

Many times we cry, moan, and even we do not know how to ask for, but there is someone who day by day continues to intercede for us, that there is someone who expresses every moan with words that we cannot express. Therefore, there is someone who reminds us that He has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, love, and self-control. How beautiful is to know that there is someone who always defends us, does us justice, and cares for all ailments. Therefore, our weaknesses are no longer our weaknesses, but there is someone who allows us to live life with purpose. Thank you we give to someone in whom we can fully trust those weaknesses to transform them into strength, Jesus.

Prayer: Open your heart

Lord Jesus, I am in front of your presence asking you for forgiveness. Help me to trust your processes. May you be my strength in the midst of my weaknesses. I ask this in your name Jesus, Amen.
