Holidays

Celebrate the Festival of Weeks with the first fruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the year. Exodus 34:22

For generations, cultures or traditions the holidays arrive. Everyone literally celebrates Christmas, goodbye years, New Year, among other social and family activities. Maybe in other countries they have different names, maybe different times of the year, maybe not all at the same time since zone time changes, but regardless of the region of the globe there is a reason to join family and friends.

This is a time to reflect, time to forgive and forget what has already happened. Now is the time to continue a new path, a new beginning, a time to join as a family to sing and dance. We cannot waste time lamenting, it is time to get up and thank God for life. It is time to celebrate and remember that time passes quickly, that every second is important and that the loved one is present and tomorrow we do not know where they can be.

Recover your strength, stretch your wings like the eagle, hug yours like the chicken to its chicks, smile and laugh out loud as if there was no tomorrow and let the air caress you and breathe the air that is free. The lights come on, the night is majestic, but the day is to remind us that there are reasons to celebrate. Holiday times … without forgetting that God gives us this beautiful opportunity.

Prayer: Open your heart

Lord Jesus, I am in front of your presence to thank you for life. Thank you for today since I can meet with my family and friends to celebrate holidays and new life. Thank my God. Amen.
