Looking back

As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!” Genesis 19:17

A new year is almost approaching, but we are still living a month that for many of us besides joy or sadness, we allow ourselves to reflect on what we did or did not do. Possibly, this year we lost loved ones, we received bad or good news, there have been so many things that we live … We reflect … we look back and maybe you say this would have done better or perhaps not done. We ask ourselves so many questions and we want answers.

Questions … will they have answers? We do not know, but I am sure that we have to learn to see this year with different eyes, and not regret the negative but see the negative from the positive point. Already what happened has already happened, but the future is yet to come and that is what we have to work on. Perhaps there was something incomplete, but it is good to know that there are possibilities to complete it now because tomorrow we do not know. If life allows us to wake up, let’s not waste that day thinking about what we would have done yesterday but what I can do now.

Prayer: Open your heart

Lord Jesus, I am before your presence asking for forgiveness if I have offended you. Today, I want to thank you for the opportunity you gave me for being one more year in this world. Help me, to make wise decisions to continue in my walk. I ask this in your name, Jesus, Amen.

Friendly advice

My dear friends, I was reading a message sent to me about seeing the negative from the positive perspective. Perhaps for many, it has been a year full of bad news, but the good thing is that there is more time to do things or receive things much better. Do not regret but take that situation and transform it into something positive. Remember that God has kept you and he will not give you nothing you cannot handle or do.
