I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13.
Today, everyone seeks to feel happy, cheerful. For many, joy is temporary or momentary. But, how can I have a life full of constant joy? Well, we have tried everything, but nothing has been constant. I was reading a reflection in the Bible, which I would like to share with you. And, it is in relation to this verse of Romans 15:13 which touches three important points that produce joy. Do you want to know what they are?
The first is to have a new identity. How many of us would like to have a new 
identity? To start again? The opportunity is when you meet God in your life. God gives you a new opportunity, clean your past, heal your illness, restore your life, and many wonderful things that many who have had this experience testified. So, you discover that you are special, that you are a child of God. Because as his child you can rest and sleep peacefully because God takes care of you.
The second point is you have the power to face the adversity that life brings us day by day. That is, you have new strength, you have the wisdom to make decisions, and you have the confidence that God is in control of everything. How? Well, when you recognize God in your life you are sealed by the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit works in your heart helping you understand everything. So, your attitude changes and your behavior changes since you see life from another perspective and nothing prevents you from being happy. There is always hope in you because you know that God will not let you face alone your situation. God promised to guide you and take care of you. Therefore, you get stronger and you are happier because everything will be fine.
Finally, you have a hopeful future. You are already different, you are special and unique, so you now have the knowledge and hope that there is life after death. Therefore, your last breath here on earth will be followed by your first breath in heaven. Perhaps the world offers you as many things as money, sex, parties, power, and many other things but, all this is temporary. Therefore, the only thing that will make you constantly happy in the hope that God is in your heart and you are someone unique in today’s world.
Prayer: Open your heart
Lord Jesus, forgive me if I have offended you. Today, I come before you to recognize that you are my God and that in you I can find the happiness that the world does not offer. Thank you because I know that today I am different in you, Jesus. Amen.

My dear friends, it is time to break the pattern of passing joys. Pretending that we are happy when the reality is that we are sad, so we laugh like the clown. Many times we are looking to be happy in parties, in alcohol, drugs or so many other things that the world offers. Today, I tell you, friend, if you have tried everything and everything fails you, I recommend that you give God a chance in your heart. Just tell God from your heart, mind, and voice, “Lord Jesus live in my heart because I want to be happy forever and I trust you, Jesus because everything is possible.” Amen. Try it, it’s free.
