Month of April

Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Romans 12:15.

I want to share an acrostic (English version looks different) of one of my close relatives who wish to remain anonymous so we will call A.L. This person is sensitive to the voice of God and inspiration for all those who know A.L. In the middle of two immense losses like a daughter and a mother. Today, A.L. wants to share an acrostic that was inspired in the midst of the pain but with the hope that soon she will see them.

April,

I once asked you: why did you choose me? You raised your wings and looking for a prey, there I was…

Blessing or curse, “well” they will say, but it was in the agenda of God that it was so to become an Eagle for when the storm came, to have renewed my spirit and to have the courage and strength to be able to cross this flight …

Memories are left, the haven of peace, go up in your wings and fly together to you, crossing the valley of pain this month sober and gray…

The irony of life? Coincidence? … I can ask … but, I have the correct answer … God’s purpose was in a month as you, April, that I had to see two great invaluable treasures depart, my girl Crystal, transparent and pure; and to you, my mom, my inspiration … with the reward, April, that Abraham came to be a witness of God’s love and mercy …

Tears come from deep inside and I say: far away we are; life and death, but with the certainty that I carry in my heart and with the hope that one day we will meet again…

Thank you, Lord, for the inspiration, that you give me in the midst of the pain … truly you work by mysterious paths … the Glory and the Honor for you, my God!

Prayer: Open your heart

Lord Jesus, I am standing before your presence asking for your forgiveness. A day like today you gave your life for us to save us and to enter the kingdom of heaven. I know that we have lost loved ones in our lives, but we hope that we will soon join them, as you have promised. So, help me to remain in you, I ask in your name, Jesus, Amen.

Friendly Advice

My dear friends, losing a loved one is not easy. But, we will hope that one day we will see them. Pray and ask for strength. Should not worry anymore, trust that God has given us a promise of hope. John 14: 1-3 says “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; belief also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” Comfort and peace in the Lord, Jesus.
